Noel is one of Ireland’s top furniture designers making domestic and corporate furniture such as boardroom tables, executive office furniture and reception desks for businesses all over Ireland. All the furniture is especially designed for clients and handmade in
Noel’s workshop in Dunhill, Co Waterford. Noel also makes other boardroom
furniture such as cabinets, screens and lecterns.

Noel Whelan Furniture Design was one of the first businesses to move into the Business Park in Dunhill in 1999. In 1998
Noel was runner up in County Enterprise Award for Manufacturing. He has a 2,500sq ft workshop with all of the necessary machinery to tackle jobs of any size. Their installation is to the highest standard as all of the fitters are fully qualified Cabinet Makers.
Inspired by the sweeping coastline of Waterford, each piece by Noel Whelan has timeless appeal. Classic proportions, innovative use of natural materials, and a harmonious blending of complementary hardwoods are the signature of this Irish designer. Close examination of each piece will uncover discreet but original detailing, and each design is carefully conceived to balance aesthetics with functionality. Slow time-honoured techniques are used to achieved the elegant
lines of Noel Whelan’s designs.
