It was time to get your dancing shoes on in Dunhill last week for the Centre Stage School of Dance Summer School which took place in Dunhill Enterprise park.
Participants had an action packed week performing hip hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary dance and also drama, singing arts and crafts. The week culminated on Saturday with a star studded performance for parents in Kill Community centre.
Edel Quinlan, principal welcomed back past pupil Des Healy for the week to assist with the summer school. Des is currently studying dance in Inchicore College.
Centre Stage school first opened in Dunhill Enterprise Park in January 2006. The school started with 75 pupils and that number has now grown to almost 300.
During the past three years Centre Stage School has gone from strength to strength with no less than five past pupils in full time third level education in very prestigious dace facilities.

Adam O Shea has just successfully auditioned for London Studio to study for his BA Performing Arts degree and Sophie Richings is currently studying at Judith Hockadays School of Performing Arts in England.
Centre Stage is very proud of the level of success that the pupils have reached with virtually no funding.
